Hello folks - great news!! The pins have FINALLY ARRIVED. I had a chance to check them all out very briefly - majority thankfully seem to be great (I have yet to go through every single pin, however, so am unsure about flaw rates). There are, though, some unfortunate issues. I apologize in advance - this is a VERY wordy update, but there are photos of all the pins, including the glow, at the end!

Our little froggy friend is...not so little. Despite the proof stating that he was to be 1.5" wide, the factory instead made him 2" wide...meaning he is LORGE. This might not always be a bad thing, but because I wanted these pins to be roughly proportional, he looks a little...out of place.



I have asked for a full remake - however, if you like the lorge boi Frederico, I will be happy to swap that pin out for you at no additional charge. All the other animals came out looking adorable - I think that Reginald the mouse is my favorite, though the galaxy holo glitter black kitty is a close second!

The potions all look great, however the white and pink potions, which were supposed to be chrome plated, did NOT end up chrome plated. This is a mixture of an oversight on my part (I did approve proofs stating dyed metal, but both pins on the invoice stated chrome metal & I was charged for it...so I am negotiating a paid remake of these, minus the mold fees and chrome plating fees, to be sent along with the froggy & other remakes). The feathers potion needing WHITE tinted translucent enamel seemed to elude the factory as well so it's just...fully clear enamel over rainbow. If you all are happy with this, I think it honestly looks fine, and will not be as nit-picky here. The feathers are half-raised metal and look pretty neat beneath the clear!

The rainbow witch hat used the entirely wrong glitter - and like, the tiniest amount possible of it. I think it looks more like a mistake than anything - and nothing like what I intended (a finer mica-type powder one of my manus called diamond dust). This may be another case of me being too picky, but I intend to receive a full remake of these with the correct glitters, because I'm really not a fan of the glitter they have in there. It's so sparse that it's nearly impossible to catch on camera, tbh (which is part of why I didn't clock it when I was sent update photos). It just looks bad to me, and I really would like all my pins to be something that I am happy with so I feel better selling them to all of you!

Finally, the biggest issue other than the frog and rainbow hat is the white cats - both of them, unfortunately, are basically 100% flawed. The glitter they used is apparently contaminated with other glitters, and that is GLARINGLY obvious on a white pin. I did inspect the other glittery pins, and it appears that many of them have a few differently colored glitters here and there, but it doens't show up unless they are closely inspected due to not being against a white background. 
If the manu agrees to a remake as they should, but cannot guarantee this won't be an issue again, my plan is to swap to just plain hard enamel - OR pearlescent enamel for the white areas. I've attached a poll below for you all to vote on in the case I need to make this decision.  

The glow for some of the pins (namely the freebie space bottle and the white hat cat) are either a bit messy or are missing things like stars...unsure why, but that is a bit more minor. If al lot of pins have issues like this when I check for b grades I will ask for additional remakes of those.

Hello all! November update here with some exciting news - pins are in full swing and my manu has assured me they will be shipped this month. In preparation for this, I will go ahead and charge the remainder of cards NEXT WEEK.
 
If you are a combined shipping backer who did not request to have your shipping cost go towards helping offset tariff costs (thank you very much for that!!) your total shipping cost will be adjusted to reflect that difference - there isn't anything you will need to do yourselves, and that will all be on my end :) 

I wanted to pop in some of the images that I have been sent of the pins as they're being worked on so you all know what to look forward to! Some of them are being adjusted, but most are as they should be, from what I can see, although they are also WIP still as well. 

Hello all - I am coming to you with relatively minimal updates. I finally received some photos of a few of the pins - I'm waiting on an photo of the glow these pins have. This manu has been incredible terrible regarding communicating. I technically haven't even approved all proofs, the final witch hat (rainbow with translucent black enamel is taking some time for them to figure out for some reason) is not approved, and I am a little nervous with how few updates of the process they are sending...but I was also assured that they would check in before moving on to each step. I am doing my best to be optimistic regarding how these will turn out. Hopefully I will have more updates soon - I am currently speed running grading the pins I have in hand, before I leave for an extended trip tomorrow, and will have updates on that once I'm done traveling!

Hello everyone - this is going to be a very image heavy update, so I apologize in nadvance. Before I show photos, I need to preface this with - Crystal Balls and the freebie pin came out great (in the few pins I've seen). The Graveyard Witches....have some issues. I am pretty frustrated with them, but will ultimately leave it up to those who backed for these pins to give their opinions (i.e. determine if I am being too picky/harsh in judging the errors).

I will e-mail all graveyard witch backers individually as well, to ensure I get all responses, but if you see this update, PLEASE comment below so I can gather everyone's thoughts!

Keep in mind I have not graded any of these pins yet, so may have to come back once that's done with some additional updates.

I will start with the good: the freebie floating skull pin came out AMAZINGLY. I always forget how big 2 inches is, though, so the first look admittedly shocked me lol.



The crystal balls are SUPER exciting to see in person! I unfortunately had an issue where the incorrect final glitter was sent, so it's a more blue-y color than purple as the sample had shown. If this makes you want to change your color choice, please reach out and let me know and I will either make note or unlock your survey (I'm unsure if I can unlock surveys of those who had already paid their full balance). The photos and videos really dont do these guys justice though - they are SO stunning in person. 

And now, the witches - I somehow managed to grab 2 that had b grade issues (smudged screen printing) which makes me nervous for grading...but, sometimes that's something I can fix (if screen printing is in the middle of an area with no other printing, like the one witch's chest area, vs the other witch's shoes, which would be difficult or impossible to clean up).
I'll post each grouping of photos individually but severity of the issues. I didnt grab a photo of the back, but they...did not laser on series numbers like I was told they would 🫠 so I will also have to figure out how to do that myself. I will be testing some options at home, but I do have several ideas for that at least. 

First up - the worst issues of the entire batch. I will include a photo of the proof I approved to hopefully give a better idea of how it was SUPPOSED to look, as well. 

My main concern, aside from the glaring issues, is that I want to depict characters who are NOT my race/skin tone respectfully. It frustrates me that this pin caused me so much issue, and I've already had to fight to get it made right. I should have sampled all three pins, but I for some reason just...didn't. I am kicking myself aggressively for that now.

If you ordered this specific pin, please let me know your thoughts - as I will at the VERY least, fight to get enough remakes done to fulfill backer orders if they won't remake them entirely (given the cost and labor involved in these pins, I have a feeling that it will not be easy to convince them to do a full remake, let alone partial).

The next issue is much less severe, though it is annoying. The shadows for the shoes, book and hat of the following witch are...just blatantly wrong. If this doesnt bother folks, I will leave it as is - if it does, please let me know and I will attempt to pursue at least a partial remake to fulfill backer orders.

Finally, this witch didnt really have any glaring issues other than the pin I chose having mouth alignment issues. This may just be the one pin, or a small number of them but....if it isnt then I'll be fighting for that too 😭 or trying to anyway.

FINAL NOTES:

I will check in daily for any comments regarding these pins and their...issues. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but since you all spent your hard earned money on them I want to be aure you're happy with what you're getting.

ALL the other pins are being produced by my new manu. I have literally NO updates there because they haven't even given me all the PROOFS to approve yet, and those that have been sent have many issues that I need to fight for. I will be paying to get samples made of all those pins, because after this debacle, I do NOT want to deal with getting hundreds of pins remade 🥲 I am pressuring them daily to send proofs ASAP because you all are WAITING for your pins, and fulfillment will take me a while once I even get them, plus I will have to grade...literally thousands of pins.
