How do I qualify for Early Summerween freebies?

As long as you pledge to ALL FIVE campaigns for at least one pin, you will qualify for a free pin from each campaign! Those who pledge for TWO pins from each campaign will qualify for a second freebie pin set as well, which will be shipped along with ONE of your pledge packages, to make logistics easier.

How do I qualify for early bird incentives?

As long as you pledge within the first 48 hours of the campaign, then you will qualify for the early bird incentive and will be asked which sticker you would like post-campaign! Bear in mind that if you cancel your pledge and do not re-pledge during the 48 hour incentive period, you will no longer qualify for the freebie.

How do I qualify for return backer incentives?

If you have backed either of my previous campaigns, then you will automatically have the incentive applied to your pledge and will receive the freebie pin!

How long will my items take to ship once you begin shipping?

The USPS Ground Advantage packages have an ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIME of 3-7 business days for USA and a 7-21 business days for Everywhere Else. I am unable to guarantee shipping times, and so these are only estimates - I cannot be held responsible for shipping times that exceed these estimates.

I moved and my package was shipped to the wrong address - what do I do?

Please ensure your shipping address is up-to-date when filling out your backerkit survey - if you need to make any changes, they must be made prior to your package shipping out, or I will be unable to accommodate any change requests.

If you have extenuating circumstances and need to change your address after surveys are locked, please e-mail me for assistance.

Backers who need rewards re-shipped due to incorrect or insufficient address will need to pay for the additional cost of shipping. I will provide ample time prior to shipping orders out for you to make me aware of any shipping changes that may be required, and intend to have several reminders in my updates as well.

In the event your package is lost by the mail carrier despite accurate address, please reach out to me for resolution

Can you mark my package as a gift to save me customs fees?

In short, absolutely not</b>.

In depth, if shipping internationally, I will fill out all customs forms accurately and truthfully. It is a crime to do otherwise, and I will need to pay fines and may be in more trouble than that. Please do not ask me to modify the value of your item(s) or mark them as a gift, as I will not do this. I am not responsible for extra charges as a result of VAT or other taxes.

How does Pay Over Time work?

I’ve decided to give Backerkit’s Pay Over Time beta feature a try for this campaign - I’d like to give folks a chance to pledge to a higher tier or put more add-ons in their cart if they want to, but can’t necessarily front the entire amount at the end of the campaign (Feb 13th)! If your pledge is over $150, after you select a pledge and go to Checkout, you’ll be given the option to pay 4 equal interest-free monthly installments of your pledge total over the course of 4 months.

If you select Pay Over Time, you acknowledge that:

*Your rewards will not qualify for shipment until you have paid in full. Pay over time typically takes 4-8 weeks, depending on the service; due to the nature of pin production, however, it is likely that shipping will not have begun until that point. *You understand that any partial payments made are not eligible for a refund. *You understand that you will not be able to access the pledge manager survey until after you have paid in full.

This campaign is structured so that you are able to pledge for exactly which pin(s) you want - this means that even though your survey will not be sent until after you have fully paid, you will not miss out on any pin choices.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
